Indications/Uses
Treatment of fibrocystic disease of the pancreas (cystic fibrosis), chronic pancreatitis, & pancreatic steatorrhea following pancreatectomy. As an aid to digestion following gastrectomy.
Allergic reactions. Assess unusual abdominal symptoms or changes in abdominal symptoms to exclude the possibility of fibrosing colonopathy especially if taken >10,000 u/kg/day of lipase. Ensure adequate hydration at all times. Pregnancy.
